3 Reasons we love craft brewers

Standard Apparel was warmly welcomed by craft brewers at the Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo last week at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. But it wasn't just our beautiful, enticing exhibit stand or our sparkling personalities that won them over.

It was our shared beliefs in concepts like quality,  innovation, independence and community. Let's take a look at the three biggest reasons we love craft brewers. 

Reason #1
Craft Brewers are creative innovators.

The hallmark of craft beer and craft brewers is innovation. Craft brewers interpret historic styles with unique twists and develop new styles that have no precedent.

Standard Apparel takes the standard t-shirt and creates something truly unique that you won't find from your traditional screen printer. Our tie-dye & specialty dyes include the standard techniques popular with screen printers, but also include the latest wash techniques that are popular in the fashion industry. We also add creative details to the shirts themselves, like stitching or a contrast pocket to add visual interest.

Craft Brewers are proud, active members of their community.

Craft brewers tend to be very involved in their communities through philanthropy, product donations, volunteerism and sponsorship of events.

We knew that our exhibit, emblazoned with the words "Made with Integrity," would naturally draw craft brewers. This is the core of Standard Apparel. We are paving the way to a sustainable business model where our Honduran garment workers can share in the financial benefits of the company, while still keeping our prices reasonable. Our goal is to provide our employees not only a livable wage, but a path to middle class living in their country. We are already well on our way.

Craft brewers have distinctive, individualistic approaches to connecting with their customers.
